Jumping Spider Bussokusekika Poem
A jumping spider
looking more like a birds head
maybe it can fly
sure would not want to meet him
mice would be nicer to see
they are more afraid of me
Bussokusekika is a rare form of Japanese poetry that consists of six lines written in a 5-7-5-7-7-7 Mora pattern
can’t help thinking it’s an owl’s face superimposed on a spider… Spiders have compound eyes

Love your poem!
Can’t get over how much this Spider’s face looks like an Owl… and I don’t want to meet it in person.
