Limestone Stalagmites Poem
a mass of color
dripping into water
stalagmite form growth
is it underground caverns
forming a column buildup
dissolving in the water

A Tanka poem with an extra phrase of seven added on at the end.
Takes me back to visiting the Jenolan Caves in NSW, Elsie. They have a number of caves, some huge, others smaller, but all fantastic.

That sounds nice, I haven’t heard of those caves, but caves have many features that amaze the vision for sure. Happy days. I like your new profile photo.

They are gorgeous caves; so well worth the trip..
