#OctPoWriMo – Day 28 – Marianne Poetry Form – Halloween Nightmare
Time for the October Poetry Writing Month #OctPoWriMo!
Theme for 2018 is a one lined quote that gives me inspiration for writing a Poem – These quotes are copied from Goodreads.com – tag poetry.
“Closed in a room, my imagination becomes the universe, and the rest of the world is missing out.” ― Criss Jami
Halloween Nightmare
I’m a dreamer
With imagination
As a child, I was a schemer
magic, fairies
believer
In a closed room
Planning as I dream on
Bringing in a witch with a broom
Lights all turned off
Darkroom
Something fluffy
a imaginary friend
I don’t think it was a bunny
Landed on my
tummy
Oh, a black cat.
Giving me a big fright.
I screamed, the witch in a straw hat
grab the black cat
No chat
Light was turned on
Mother grabbing my hand
Me asking, “Where have they all gone”?
You were dreaming
Come on.
