Carpe Diem Weekend Meditation #69: Returning to Now.

This week our mission is to create a Haiku, and then a Troiku out of that. The Haiku was created by listening o the Music of Karunesh, the  track was titled “Returning to now”, created in 2001 it is part of the album “Zen Breakfast”.

Haiku

spiritual journey

deep meaning growing within

as the stars appear

—-^—-

spiritual journey

soul rejoicing while walking

high in the mountains

—-^—-

deep meaning growing within

whispering stream flows

music to the soul

—-^—-

as the stars appear

the spirits calling softly

pure path of nature

troiku is three haiku, with each of the three lines from a suggested haiku as the first line of each haiku in the troiku. It’s not always possible to have a 5-7-5 format in the second haiku, due to the limitations of the original haiku.

    • Thanks for the nice comment, had a busy weekend, visitors. The weather here in Waitara isn’t too bad yesterday 26 c but in centre Taranaki it was in the 30c which is quite unusual as it is under Mount Egmont/Taranaki and there still is a little snow on it. We have a westerly breeze which helps to keep it cooler, all you need to do is look for some shade under a tree. All the best for coping with your hot weather, Summer is two-thirds gone, Autumn will be here before we know it.
