#dVerse Haibun Monday: Why do I write Poetry?
#dVerse – Poetry
Guest host Toni (Kanzen Sakura) at dVersepoets asked us to write a halibut about what/who inspired us to write poetry.
She say’s keep ii Simple so here it is.
Why/who inspired you to write poetry?
I Did a WordPress Poetry Course – in June 2016. I was 75 years old then.
What is your style? Tanka Poetry, I have a Weekly Tanka Challenge, all though now I cover all forms of poetry.
Why do you write poetry? I just love doing it, please check out my blog, I have written many forms of poetry.

Oh I get caught out with spelling as well, haibun is one form I don’t have on my weekly challenge, must add it. My A to Z Challenge in April is all Haibun poetry with nature, I like that form of writing.

Thanks, hope the snow is melting around your home, that would be a challenge. Snowbound, not for me, I think I would freeze too.

Smiles, my husband and I live under Mount Egmont/Taranaki dairy farming for thirty years, we were glad to semi-retire on a beef farm in East Taranaki for fifteen years, still even happier to retire by the seaside in Waitara Taranaki, much warmer than living under the mountain.

I’m sure it is. And how lovely to live by the seaside.
