Dividing line, both sides the same, that is balance. Mirror symmetry.
Testing the new editor – Gutenberg, I’m not very happy with it for poetry.

Poor Tiger doesn’t look very happy!
And I wasn’t very happy with the new editor either, Elsie! But, with a little more practice I’m beginning to quite enjoy it now. I do like that you can use the ‘cover’ facility. This allows you to insert an image and place text over it (overlay). Plus the colouring function allows for a block of colour (as chosen by you) and an overlay of text in whatever colour you choose.
All in all, after a few goes, I’m beginning to choose it over the ‘Classic’ function. But. ot has taken a bit of getting used to.. This little puppy-dog is getting happier!
So, you can teach an old/puppy-dog new tricks… Woof… 🙂

Thanks for your reply about the new editor and the woof at the end, it gave me a smile. I guess it’s like most things once you get used to it, there will be no problem. I usually write my poetry on my computer, then copy and paste, with the new editor it seperate all the lines with gaps between every line, each line is in a block and they are no longer verses, just lines of words. No verses at all, I will have to learn how to sort that out, but there is no text tab that I can edit like I used to do in the old editor. Oh well, happy days learning.

Hi Wendy, I think it’s going to be a lot of try and error for writing poetry, something I could do without, my NZ poetry blog is still on the old editor, I think I will use it for all my poetry. https://kiwinana.blogtown.co.nz/ which I have been using for nearly a month now. I’m not feeling the best, but looking forward to Christmas with all the family. Hope all is well with you my dear friend.

I stayed in the new editor for about two lines then off to the happiness engineer to get me out of it. I guess the old dog has to want to change before giving it a chance. I can’t remember what sent me flying out but I’m staying where I am for now anyway. 😀

Hi, I don’t blame you for taking off, it is a challenge trying to understand how to make the post right, at the moment I’m just doing Haiku poems, little and sweet, hopefully I will work it out how to get poetry with verses not one big long mess of words. Hope you are having a great day.

Hi again, Elsie! Love the Tiger photo. I haven’t got the new editor, and don’t want it. I still use the first one I ever had, and it suits me fine. 🙂

I’m getting used to using the new editor, only thing I haven’t found out yet is how to make poetry into verses which is a bit of a nuisance. Thanks for the Christmas blessing, wishing you all the best for a wonderful peaceful Christmas holiday with your family.
